Internal communications agency, Red, has won a competitive pitch to roll out an internal communication and engagement strategy for London Luton Airport.

The York agency will also create a new visual identity for the organisation to bring it together “as one family.”

“This is an exciting time for the airport and there’s a lot of change coming our way for employees,” explained Misty Oosthuizen, Internal Communications and Engagement Lead at LLA.

“I’m delighted that RED were successful in our pitch process. They’ve got some great ideas and creative solutions to help engage and inform our people. I’m looking forward to working with them.”

The decision to improve communication channels comes following a £160m expansion, to increase its capacity to 18m passengers a year.

“We’re delighted to win this internal communication contract at such an exciting time for London Luton Airport. Going forward we’ll be supporting Misty with projects such as video magazines, campaigns, strategies, digital communication and workplace environment design to name but a few,” added Andy Douse, Director at RED.
