SocialChain has appointed Mike Scott as its new Executive Creative Director.
Reporting directly to SocialChain CEO, Jacinta Faul, he’ll be responsible for creativity across brands including SharkNinja, Linkedin and Holland & Barrett.
“Mike has a clear track record of leading and delivering exceptional creative campaigns within social-first business,” said Faul.
“With our roster of clients looking for impressive visibility and originality, I have no doubt that Mike is the ideal person to lead SocialChain’s creative vision. I look forward to seeing the work he delivers for our clients.”
Scott spent more than a decade at THG, starting out as a designer, then becoming Creative Director for Myprotein and THG Corporate accounts and later took on the Operations Director role, managing a global team of 300.
During that time he led the design and development of its £90m studio facility near Manchester Airport.

In 2021 he was named Executive Creative Director and handled brand work for Disney, Asda, Homebase, Holland & Barrett, and Sky.
He said that one of his career highlights was the creative direction and design for the Stick To Football studio, part of Gary Neville’s Overlap YouTube series.
“Joining SocialChain is a rare opportunity – an agency as respected and revered as this doesn’t come around often,” he said.
“It felt like an easy decision to take this next step in my career. Being well-connected in the North West, I’m excited to build on the already talented team we have in place. The chance to spearhead the creative department and deliver outstanding work for our clients is one I’m relishing. SocialChain is made up of an incredible group of individuals, and I can’t wait to be part of what’s next.”
