New categories to reflect a changing landscape

In 2025, the awards evolve with the industry. New categories this year include:

  • Digital Security Company – recognising businesses protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
  • Tech Founder of the Year – celebrating vision, resilience, and leadership in Northern tech.
  • Tech Female Entrepreneur – honouring an inspiring female entrepreneur making a lasting impact in the sector.

Both founder categories will be decided via a combination of judges’ scores and a public vote to give the community a voice too.
