Summit extends Ann Summers brief

Summit has extended its partnership with retailer, Ann Summers.

For the past 2 and a half years, the Hull-based performance marketing agency has helped the retailer overcome a number of search-based hurdles – not least Safe Search features.

Now, in additional to looking after its paid social and SEO, it will oversee Ann Summers’ paid search.

“Ann Summers initially gravitated towards Summit because of our previous experience with tightly regulated industries, such as sexual health with Durex and medical cannabis clinic, Sapphire Medical,” explained Carl Hutchinson, Head of Paid Media at Summit.

“We understand the rules and regulations, and have the experience to make sure our client campaigns are successful and profitable, despite the challenges from platforms like Meta and Google.”

Summit said that Ann Summers had seen a major rise in non-brand traffic, with a 116% increase year-on-year – its highest visibility.
