Marketing Lancashire is hoping to “show the world what it means to be Lancastrian” with a new social media campaign.
The organisation is encouraging people to illustrate their love of the county’s landscape, food and culture, by posting photographs using the #LancashireDay hashtag.
The campaign begins today and runs until the day itself on 27th November.
“We all have our favourite places to visit, a view or location that has special meaning, a restaurant, pub or café where we meet friends, celebrate special occasions and create great memories. Lancashire Day gives us the opportunity to share these and bring friends and relations, in countries across the globe, a little bit closer to home,” said Anna Izza, head of PR and communications.
Last year, a similar campaign reached more than 40m people in 816 locations worldwide.
