Smoking Gun PR in Manchester has been appointed to promote the country’s first ever “cross sector blogger awards.”
The National Blog Awards have opened for entry this week and are intended to celebrate the country’s best individual and company blogs.
“We feel the blogging world deserves this recognition. In a very short space of time, bloggers have become a real force to be reckoned with and are increasingly recognised as a source of inspiration for consumers and traditional media alike,” said UKBA14 founder Gemma Pears.
“We hope that this event not only raises the profile of the industry, but creates an unrivalled opportunity for bloggers to meet up and share knowledge.”
There are 12 categories including Best Young Blogger and Most Innovative Blog and the winners will be announced at an awards dinner in London next year.
Entries cost £15 for individuals and £40 for businesses and you can find out more on their website.
