The Manchester United v Liverpool tie this weekend will be the first top flight game in England to use a “Spidercam.”

The camera is suspended on cables above the pitch and can travel at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour.

Sky says that it’ll give its audience a bird’s eye view and “capture all the drama from new angles.”

Crews have installed a series of wires and pulleys at Old Trafford in order for the equipment to work.

“It is an unmissable Super Sunday,” stated Sky Sports head of football Gary Hughes, “and Sky Sports will pull out all the stops to create the best possible experience for our viewers.”
