ITV Daytime has commissioned Shiver to produce a new makeover show, presented by Loose Women’s Jane McDonald.
Star Treatment is a 15 x 60 minutes series, which will be aired this summer. It sees McDonald and her style team visit “offices, factories, clubs and institutions” around the country to give start treatment to people who have been nominated by their bosses to thank them for their “hard work and positive attitude.”
“Jane McDonald brings her unique brand of Northern warmth to Star Treatment, which gives Britain’s bosses the chance to reward their most deserving workplace stars with a luxurious makeover and lavish meal. Packed full of astonishing transformations, great food and heart-warming stories, we hope the show will be enjoyed by viewers around the country,” said Andrew Nicholson, executive producer, Shiver.
The show was commissioned by Diana Howie for ITV Daytime. The series producer is Julie Bradshaw and Nicholson is the executive producer for Shiver. The format will be distributed internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
Shiver is the factual spin off of ITV Studios UK and is based at MediaCityUK, Leeds and London.
