Sheffield tech firm appoints head of design

Sheffield technology firm Razor has appointed a new head of design.

Paul Fillingham joins from Thinkamigo Digital, where he was creative director, and has also worked for the likes of Orange Bus and Headland having started his career in the 1980s as an Apple Macintosh pre-press and multimedia specialist.

He is tasked with strengthening Razor’s approach and offering, including developing its in-depth discovery process.

Fillingham said: “I’m looking forward to working with Razor to push UX to the forefront, ensuring that Razor’s people-centric approach remains as effective as possible as the business continues to expand.”

Jamie Hinton, CEO of Razor, added: “We’re thrilled to have Paul joining Razor. His vast experience means he will be an invaluable addition to the team. Razor are passionate about our people-first stance, and Paul’s appointment will ensure that this is in-line with our technical expertise, and present in everything we do.”

Razor has recently worked with the likes of Virgin Trains East Coast and Ticket Tannoy.
