Salford Media Festival gets underway again this morning with a keynote speech from Channel 4’s director of creative diversity, Stuart Cosgrove.
Called The Shows that Changed the Game – How Production Outside London Came of Age his presentation at 10am reflects on the fortunes of the UK’s nations and regions in media over 20 years looking at the key landmarks in the development of media in the nations and regions.
It’s the second day of a packed programme which closes after 5pm with a look at drama in the north and the experiences, opportunities and future potentials of media content internationally.
