Manchester-based digital agency Riot & Rebel has been appointed by Melissa Timperley Salons to deliver a full redevelopment of the salon’s digital presence.
Just a stone’s throw apart in the Northern Quarter, the two Manchester teams have joined forces to create a new website that reflects the salon’s reputation for excellence, technical precision, and creative leadership in the UK hair industry.
Founded by award-winning stylist Melissa Timperley, the salon has become a nationally recognised name thanks to a string of prestigious accolades, including multiple British Hairdressing Awards. Regular appearances at London and Milan Fashion Weeks, a high-profile clientele, and a focus on client experience have helped cement its standout status.

The new website – designed and developed by Riot & Rebel – aims to reflect this high standard online, bringing the brand’s identity and ethos to life. It showcases the salon’s editorial work, services, and team, while offering a seamless booking experience.
“Our salon has always been about excellence and making people feel their absolute best,” said Melissa Timperley, Celebrity Hairstylist and Founder of Melissa Timperley Salons. “That commitment runs through everything we do, from the experience we give clients to the creative work we produce. We wanted a website that captured that feeling and raised the bar. Riot & Rebel have done just that and we couldn’t be happier. The new site reflects our brand, our values, and where we’re heading next.”
Louise Howells, Director and Co-Founder of Riot & Rebel, added: “Melissa Timperley Salons is a brand built on precision, care, and creativity, and we wanted the new website to give people a real taste of that before they even step through the door. From the design and tone to the user experience, everything has been shaped to showcase the salon’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence.”
Riot & Rebel’s client list includes England cricket captain Ben Stokes and award-winning production company Eight Engines, further cementing their position as one of Manchester’s go-to agencies for high-impact digital design.
