£0.5m public sector wins for Sheffield Divas

Diva's marketing team

Sheffield’s Diva Creative has landed a pair of public sector contracts worth a healthy half a million after beating off the competition for Rail Delivery Group and Sheffield City Council briefs.

The two-year contract as social media agency for Rail Delivery Group will see it managing both the National Rail and Railcard channels, while back home in Sheffield it has landed a further three-year contract to deliver the council’s tobacco control marketing and communications for Smokefree Sheffield. The contracts will bring in a combined £500k in increased revenue.

Amanda Pearce, Diva director, said: “It’s great to secure these two major contracts, that come on top of a clutch of other wins since Christmas, including a fantastic environmental project that aims to plant a million trees in Derbyshire, and work with established clients such as the Ramblers, Equality and Human Rights Commission and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, who are highly regarded globally for their work.”

Candy Cooke, social media manager, Rail Delivery Group, added: “We were particularly impressed by [the] team’s expertise and experience in the field, which demonstrated a deep understanding of our requirements and challenges. [The] creative approach and strategic vision for the project aligned perfectly with our objectives.”
