Prolific North Creative Awards 2025: All the categories celebrating content

From celebrating memorable social content to ambitious TV or film ads, there are plenty of categories that recognise content at this year’s Prolific North Creative Awards.

Back with a bang for 2025, the Creative Awards celebrates all the talented individuals, teams and companies working across the creative sectors in the North of England and Scotland.

There’s not long to go until the early bird deadline ends on 24 February – so we’ve pulled together a handy guide on all the dedicated content awards up for grabs this year.

Recognising content

  • Branding & Visual – From logos and colour palettes to typography and imagery, the judges will be looking for outstanding examples of branding and visual identity.
  • Sound Design & Audio Branding – This award is for the very best podcasts, music compositions, sound design, or an audio-based creation that captivates and engages audiences.
  • Social Content –  If your approach to social media content can turn your brand into a household name and your followers into fans – this award is for you!
  • Digital Design – The judges will be on the hunt for websites, apps, and other digital platforms that seamlessly blend stunning visuals, intuitive user interfaces, and cutting-edge technology to engage and inspire. 
  • Video/Film/TV Ad: short and long-form – Entries should showcase a mastery of visual aesthetics, compelling narratives, and strategic messaging that captivates and resonates with audiences. 
  • Documentary/Branded Content – This award is for films that inform, entertain, and inspire, whether they delve into real-life stories, explore fascinating subjects, or champion brand values.
  • Broadcasting Programme – From groundbreaking entertainment shows, thought-provoking documentaries, news coverage, to engaging radio programmes, this is for productions that demonstrate exceptional storytelling.
  • Experiential / Immersive Content – If you’ve created anything from innovative VR, AR, installations, voice-activated technologies, multi-screen / multi-dimensional experiences, to metaverse and virtual worlds – the judges want to hear from you.
  • Collaborative Space –  The judges are looking for spaces with a difference, be it working spaces, studios or other collaborative spaces that promote creativity and well-being, or just make us go ‘Wow!’.
  • Copywriting – Emotionally effective, empathetic, witty, bold or concise? If you enter this category you should be able to demonstrate your talents and the power of compelling copy. 
  • Motion Graphics & Animation – This award will go to the most memorable and striking visual work that can demonstrate value and effectiveness.
  • Packaging – The winner of this category will be an exceptional packaging design that not only protects and presents products effectively but also contributes to brand identity and consumer delight.
  • Out-of-Home (OOH) Ad – This category recognises campaigns that leverage physical spaces with exceptional creativity that leaves a lasting impact on audiences.
  • Storytelling – Whether it’s through film, animation, interactive experiences, written word, or immersive installations, the judges are looking for storytellers who can seamlessly weave narratives that transport us to other worlds.

Entries are now officially open, so make sure you get your entries in before midnight on the 24 February to take advantage of the early bird discount!
