Management reshuffle as Finn appoints managing director

Finn Communications has appointed Elie Adamson as managing director, with founder Richard Rawlins moving to the role of CEO.

Adamson joins the Leeds agency from We Are Social, where she was head of client services for six years.

She joins a new management team and is the latest in a series of significant senior hires for Finn, following the appointment of Andrew Hovells as strategy director, Chris Weston as creative director and Sarah DeSalis as group account director for corporate.

Rawlins said: “Elie is a stellar hire bringing a wealth of expertise from We Are Social and before that AKQA.

"She will help to turbo charge the future of the agency as we focus on helping clients to create impactful creative communications powered by PR thinking.

"Elie brings a combination of energy, experience and expertise which will bring enormous benefits to our clients and the team at Finn.”

Finn, which works with clients including Froneri, ghd, IPN and Taylors of Harrogate, retained fourth place in the Prolific North Top 50 PR Agencies 2018. It has 36 staff.
