Naked Wines partners with Godel

Online wine retailer, Naked Wine, has recruited Godel to enhance its customer experience through technology.

“Naked Wines has made a significant investment to strengthen our technology capabilities, and we looked for a technology partner that would become part of an embedded team and raise the standard of our technology,” explained Alice Hoult, Chief Digital Officer at Naked Wines.

Hoult added that a key priority of the partnership was to enhance customer personalisation, using data insights to tailor wine recommendations, offers and content.

“We aim to ensure our internal teams have the tools they deserve to work with while also delivering the best possible experience to our customers,” she continued.

“We plan to utilise Godel’s expertise in our back-end technology and integrate best-in-class third-party tools. The introduction of advanced tools has already delivered significant improvements in our internal operations, and these efforts will only continue to scale with Godel’s support.”

Godel said that it would be embedding teams within Naked Wines as it supported the “revitalisation” of its brand image and evolution of its technical structure. The Manchester software company added that it would work on integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Content Management Systems (CMS).

“As Naked Wines continues its digital innovation journey, Godel is proud to be a trusted partner in this process to drive real transformation. Our partnership will enable Naked Wines to stay at the forefront of the industry while ensuring their internal teams have the resources and support they need to thrive.” said Gareth Ainsworth, CEO at Godel Technologies.
