LGBTQ+-owned North West creative studio MOKSi has launched Out Social, a free brand identity available to anyone who wants to start an LGBTQ+ social group.
The studio, which focuses on building brand identity, campaigns, creative production and consultation, describes itself as “super-gutsy-optimistic-punchy-and-creative” and has a clear mission at its heart – to celebrate and embrace diverse voices and perspectives.
MOKSi was founded earlier this year by Rich Pay, who has over 12 years of experience working as a creative director with global brands such as Primark, Innocent and Chaos as well as local businesses for agencies including Continuous and Uniform.
An advocate for LGBTQ+ representation, MOKSi believes action speaks louder than words and, as part of its mission, has committed to at least one self-initiated project each year that sheds light on the LGBTQ+ experience.
In response to increasing attacks on the community, the Out Social initiative equips people around the world with self-promotional resources to kick-start their presence and create more opportunities to feel safe and supported. There are proposals, marketing materials and design assets, which can all be downloaded for free.
Pay said: “We aim to foster a culture of inclusivity, creativity, and success far beyond the four walls of the MOKSi studio. We want to help the community in whatever small way we can. My hope is that Out Social means that more people can come together to feel free, safe and supported.
“While MOKSi has an authentic understanding of LGBTQ+ experience, our creative perspective is not limited to LGBTQ+ businesses. All businesses can benefit from the wealth of knowledge and perspectives derived from LGBTQ+ culture, enabling them to thrive.”
