Online fashion retailer, Missy Empire, has launched its first taxi ad campaign, through Media Agency Group.

A 100 cabs in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham will be wrapped in the company’s branding.

Running for an initial 12 months, it also features advertising inside the vehicle.

“We have done a lot of research to ascertain which cities worked well for us in terms of sales conversion rates but don’t have as many visitors as we perhaps could and came up with five key areas,” explained brand owner, Ash Siddique.

“We decided that the best way to approach this would be by raising brand awareness through a targeted taxi campaign in each location – our taxis are bright and eye-catching, with the intention of communicating the feel of the brand and allowing both current customers and potential new customers to connect with Missy Empire in a way they haven’t before. We’re confident that it will be a successful campaign and may look at introducing more cities in the near future.”

The Manchester company is set to achieve £12m sales this year.
