A Tyneside developer has created a new app, to help SMEs track and manage their mileage.
The MileEyes app has been made by Powerhouse Software and is now available on the Google Play and App Store.
It enables drivers to automatically track journeys via GPS, so that they can accurately reclaim what they’re owed.
“MileEyes works well for both large and small businesses, whether the focus of the business is driving or otherwise. From quick, local trips by one employee, to regular, long journeys for several individuals, MileEyes has a plan suited to any driver,” explained Powerhouse Software’s CEO Dan Smith.
“Unlike other products out there that offer mileage tracking, the driver will still have control of what they track. For business drivers on the road, one big concern is phone battery life and data usage. Creating an app that tracks every journey they do automatically, eats into both of these factors, so we created MileEyes with a Start/Stop function, so a person would only track the journeys they need to and only use the battery and data required.”
Once a driver has tracked their journey, the app automatically submits the mileage expense to a company dashboard, for it to be processed.
