A Teesside digital agency says its innovative benefits package – which includes unlimited holidays and flexible working – has had a positive impact on “all areas of the business”.
Under the terms of the benefits introduced by Visualsoft a year ago, all staff can take as much time off as they want, whenever they want, and they can work from wherever they want.
The only proviso is that “standards are maintained”.
And 12 months on, the agency says it has recorded an improvement in staff morale, creativity, productivity and client satisfaction.
Visualsoft’s CEO Dean Benson, who led an MBO last year, said: “We believe that staff should not be tied down by strict working hours or monitored by their time spent in the office.
“We introduced this innovative new way of working to give our staff the flexibility they deserve – whether they’re working from home, answering emails from a cafe or calling clients on the go, as long as they get the job done, we’re happy for them to do as they please!”
Visualsoft employs 204 members of staff across three offices in Stockton On Tees, Newcastle and London. It will relocate to a new 35,000 sq ft office in Stockton On Tees next month.
The agency is also due to open a new base in Manchester, with plans too for a Leeds office. It says it has a portfolio of over 1000 clients from the UK and Europe.
In addition to unlimited holidays and flexible working, the company offers staff free breakfast, free protein and health supplements, and subsidised gym memberships.
