Selco appoints media planning and buying agency

Selco Builders Warehouse has appointed Manchester’s Love Sugar Science to lead its media planning and buying.

It forms the next phase of the company’s “ambitious growth” through new store openings and a £5m branch refurbishment programme.

“The team really impressed us in the way they immersed themselves in our business and got to know our customers,” explained Selco Marketing Director, Carine Jessamine.

“They have a great mix of experience to manage continuity of our current roll out, as well as the fresh thinking to help us continue to build a modern Selco that serves the changing face of the UK’s building trade.”

Media activation will include high profile, national activity such as the sponsorship of Radio X and PDC Darts but also targeted local media out of home and in press.

“The whole team are incredibly proud to be working with Selco and looking forward to joining them on this next part of their strategic growth phase,” added Love Sugar Science Co-Founder Jessica Scott.
