Warrington Wolves Hoover up new sponsor

Hoover has signed a 2-year deal to be the principal club sponsor of Rugby League club, Warrington Wolves.

The brand will become the main shirt sponsor for the first team and also will hold branding rights throughout the Halliwell Jones stadium and its digital platforms.

“As a business that’s recently opened offices and a showroom in Warrington we’re excited to become the principal club sponsor of the Wire,” said Antony Peart, Director of Brand and Communications at Hoover Candy Group.

“It’s clear that the club has never forgotten its heritage in the 143 years since its inception, which is another reason why we wanted to pursue this opportunity, as Hoover is a household brand that has over 110 years’ experience of its own, manufacturing reliable products that deliver powerful, game-changing results.”

Last season, Warrington Wolves was one of the most-watched clubs in terms of television viewing, attracting audiences of 6.5m on BBC and Sky Sports.

We will work closely with Hoover to ensure both organisations get the absolute maximum from the partnership,” added Karl Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive Officer at Warrington Wolves.

Partnering with a brand that is as equally ambitious and known for its performance credentials paves the way for a very exciting 2020 season.”
