Mark Janson has left his role as director of strategy and partnerships at online creative industries magazine Creative Boom after less than two months.
Janson joined from design agency RetroFuzz, where he was chief operating officer.
He was brought in to spearhead the development of Creative Boom, overseeing the introduction of new features including a regular podcast.
Janson told Prolific North: “We’ve amicably parted ways to focus on other things.
“In my case, that’s specifically on working with brands to plan, visualise and communicate the best of themselves on and offline.”
Creative Boom was founded in 2009 to support talented and upcoming creatives.
The Manchester-based company offers inspiration, tips and advice and covers art, crafts, graphic design, illustration and photography.
Traffic was up to a million international hits a month as of April.
