Manchester entrepreneur launches money saving app

A new app is being launched later this month, promising to “make day-to-day life cheaper.”

Use has been founded by entrepreneur Gary Nixon, who’s invested £1m into the app.

“There are so many money saving sites out there and I wanted to create something that really works and makes a difference to my customers and the businesses we work with,” he explained.

“I want to provide businesses with the platform to get their offers and discounts in front of the largest group of customers any app offers while having the ability to amend and change their offerings as frequently as they wish.”

A consumer launch for Use is expected at the beginning of March.

“USE has been developed by our in-house development experts along with our in-house branding and marketing teams – the app will continue to evolve over time making it the one stop shop for savings, deals, competition give always and much much more,” continued Nixon.

He added that rather than “spa days that never actually get taken or photoshoots that cost hundreds of pounds extra to actually take any of the photos home” he said that the app was designed to slot into Brits’ daily spending habits “saving them cash where it really matter.”

Nixon has invested in a number of companies, including Ahoy last year.
