Manchester and North Wales agency Royal Flush has won Gold at the 2025 Dieline Global Awards for its rebrand of York Coffee Emporium.
The project, The World’s Most Intriguing Coffees, was recognised in the Beverage Brand Identity Systems category and selected from over 1,400 entries across 38 countries.
Blending narrative design with distinctive packaging, the collaboration aimed to bring the York-based coffee roaster’s product range to life through a cast of character-driven visuals.

“Winning Gold in these prestigious global awards is a big deal for a little agency in its fifth year, and most importantly for our client, York Coffee Emporium,” said Royal Flush Co-Founder Ben Martin.
“The team put a lot of hard work into creating not just a brand identity but an immersive world with a cast of characters that represent each different product. As it’s primarily sold online, we knew we had to create a visually striking brand, as people are buying with their eyes in the first instance.”

He added: “This acknowledgement affirms our creative ability and builds confidence, and we hope to continue to develop brands with personality in the food and drinks and FMCG sectors.”
York Coffee Emporium’s Commercial Director Sam Ford said the rebrand has been “a long time in the making.” He said: “With Royal Flush’s vision and commitment, we’ve created something we’re really proud to stand behind. A super strong brand that’s a big departure from our previous look, but one that still captures the essence of what we stand for; speciality coffee with character, proudly roasted by hand in York.”
The agency was selected from over 1,400 entries across 38 countries.
