Manchester’s consumer PR agency Full Volume has been appointed by premium canned cocktail brand Sipful Drinks.

The Ancoats-based agency is briefed to handle media relations around Sipful’s UK launch and will focus on driving coverage in lifestyle and food and drink titles, whilst building brand awareness in the retail sector.

Full Volume has a programme of PR activity planned to establish awareness and drive customer demand.

The agency intends to run a consumer press office focused on product placement with the intention of securing further retailer listings and stockists.

Using only natural ingredients, Sipful’s range includes a Classic Mimosa, Blood Orange Mimosa and Peach Bellini – all made with real fruit, natural flavours and mixed with organic Spanish bubbly wine, which is also available in a can on its own.

Full Volume PR Managing Partner Caroline Eardley added: “Sipful’s products are authentic, delicious and genuinely stand out. This brief plays perfectly to our experience in food and drink PR and we’re thrilled to be working alongside such an ambitious and innovative team. Sky’s the limit with this one!”

Sipful was founded by experienced drinks producer Darius Darwell and his wife Emily, and the couple aims to meet the rapidly growing demands for premium, naturally sourced canned wines and cocktails, hoping to match the wealth of options available to craft beer drinkers.

Sipful founder Darius Darwell says: “We knew straight away that Full Volume was the right partner for us. The team’s enthusiasm, ideas and understanding of our business brief were very impressive, and their experience with both start-ups and established FMCG brands is second to none. We’re really looking forward to working with them over the coming months and building a long-term partnership.”

Sipful also works with Spinningfields agency Hoopla Marketing on influencer strategy and engagement.

Intermediary consultancy Go! ran the pitch process.
