Design studio magneticNorth has worked with BBC Sport on a new predictor game for Euro 2016.
The Predictor awards points for correct predictions on matches throughout the tournament, and users can create personalised leagues with friends, family or colleagues.
Powered by the BBC’s live service, which uses Opta data feeds, Predictor can be played on mobile, tablet and desktop.
The magneticNorth team has been working on location with the BBC Sport Design & Engineering team at MediaCityUK.
Adam Todd, creative director at magneticNorth, said: “As a first of its kind for the BBC, in creating personalised league tables, this project has presented many interesting challenges.
“Through our close collaboration with the BBC Sport Design & Engineering team, we have created a product that will help to encourage participation across BBC Sport, initially for Euro 2016, and hopefully for other events in future.”
Manchester-based magneticNorth has worked with the corporation on a number of projects, including the recent ShakespeareMe quote generator.
