Leeds comms and events specialists, Vista, has appointed Francesca Ecsery to its advisory board.
With a background of McKinsey and a Harvard MBA, Ecsery is formerly the global business development director for Cheapflights Media and has held a number of leadership roles for STA Travel, ThornEMI, Thomas Cook and Going Places.
She also has a number other non-executive directorships of listed companies, and is a mentor and a commercial coach for a number of startups.
Ecsery joins board chair Michael Mahoney, Graham Lindsay and Kevin Walsh, who were appointed in 2015 shortly after the agency’s rebrand.
James Wilkins, managing director, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Francesca to our advisory board, she brings a strong and diverse background to Vista with a proven track record of working with businesses to deliver growth.
“Our advisory board has worked closely with the Vista management team over the last 12 months which has seen growth across all areas of the business including a number of new clients and 11 award wins.”
Vista, the £18m-turnover business formerly known as Logistik Group, appointed the advisory board in 2015 to provide support and guidance to the brand as it follows a five-year growth plan.
Ecsery said: “I am delighted to be able to leverage my 20+ years of client side experience to the Vista board and am excited to be working with Vista’s excellent craftsmanship and creativity in the marketing communications arena.”
Vista delivers marketing campaigns, communications strategies and live experiences for a range of clients including BMW, Lloyds Banking Group, BT, ASDA and M&S.
