Twin sisters, Abigail and Chloe Baldwin, are celebrating five years of Leeds creative agency Buttercrumble by publicly acknowledging the people who have made their small business dream a reality.
To mark the five-year milestone, the pair have planned a succession of creative interventions including the Butter Nutter Awards that celebrate stand-out partners and clients.
Chloe said: “We’ve met so many supportive cheerleaders on our Buttercrumble journey and we wanted to reward them. We’ve shortlisted a small group to receive a limited edition figurine with our gratitude”.
The shortlist includes the University of Leeds, where the twins studied Graphic Design and Communication and Leeds Enterprise Partnership, as well as the British Library’s Business and IP Centre.
Buttercrumble designed and 3D-printed 25 award figurines. The figurines depict the studio’s friendly bear mascot wearing a Yorkshire flat-cap in homage to the founders’ roots. Each bear was carefully packaged and presented to the lucky recipients.
Buttercrumble evolved from a “side-hustle” into a fully fledged agency with bases in Leeds and London. Since 2017, the firm has experienced a 300 per cent increase in turnover, working with household names such as Mamas & Papas and John Lewis.
