Leeds-based Brain Fuud has been selected by social bowling concept King Pins to develop and manage a brand and marketing strategy.

The marketing agency will work with King Pins on the launch of its new 26,000 sq ft site at Trafford Palazzo in Manchester, which will have a number of features including 15 lanes of tenpin bowling, six lanes of duckpin bowling, as well as mini golf, arcades and a 26m digital screen across the bowling lanes.

James Newman, founder of Brain Fuud, said: “We’re delighted to be working on such an exciting concept coming to market here in the North. The social gaming sector continues to grow at pace and King Pins is driving real innovation here, updating what is often seen as a rather tired brand experience; it’s really refreshing to be a part of it.”

Matt Jones, CEO of King Pins, said: “Brain Fuud’s virtual marketing team model was the perfect set up for our business and we’re delighted to be working with James and his extended team. There is a strong demand for a bowling brand which fits the gap between the adult and family audience, and that is a little more premium than what is currently on offer.

Brain Fuud, which was set up by Newman in 2020, works across management of marketing communications, PR, digital and social advertising, website design and build.
