Kelly Rowland joins the gang as The Voice UK returns to MediaCity studio

The Voice UK is returning to ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player, with the iconic red chairs are ready to spin once again for series 14 of the talent contest.

Settling back into their usual MediaCity at home at dock10, superstar coaches will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones return to the coaching panel, alongside last year’s winning coaches, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, who also made history last series as The Voice UK’s first-ever double chair.

Also joining the line-up this time around is former Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a fresh new dynamic to the battle for the UK’s next big star.

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, producer and television personality Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s with her multi-million-selling bandmates, and since then has sold over 40 million records worldwide as a solo artist. She is known for hit singles including Dilemma, Stole, Work and When Love Takes Over. A familiar face on television, Kelly has served as a judge on The X Factor UK and The X Factor USA, and as a coach on The Voice Australia. With decades of experience in the music industry, she remains a respected and influential figure in global entertainment and pop culture.

Presenter Emma Willis helms once more, guiding the singers through every high note, chair turn and dramatic showdown as they battle to win a life-changing record contract with music giants Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash and a dream holiday to Universal Studios Resort in Florida.

Produced by Lifted Entertainment (part of ITV Studios), filming for the forthcoming series begins this summer. Further broadcast details will be released in due course.

Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment & daytime commissioning, said: “We are delighted to have The Voice UK return. The new lineup brings something for everyone. With the return of our incredible coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, plus the addition of the amazing Kelly Rowland bringing fresh insights and even more energy to the panel, we’re set for another unmissable series full of heart, talent and standout moments.”

Diego Rincón, creative director at Lifted Entertainment, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Kelly Rowland to The Voice UK, joining our incredible panel of coaches. She’s a fantastic addition with a proven track record of discovering and mentoring new talent. Together this group is perfectly placed to mentor the next generation of music stars and deliver another brilliant series.”

Newcomer Rowland added: “I am excited to join The Voice UK as a coach, and am looking forward to working with the excellent and passionate coaches the show is known for. I can’t wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let’s go!”

ITV Studios will handle distribution of the series.
