A new entertainment website set up by Johnston Press has hit a million monthly unique users, just two months after launch.
WOW247 launched in May
WOW247 hit the milestone in July, six months ahead of its target, with 1,035,753 unique users on the site, according to IBM Digital Analytics.
The site uses a network of 10 city editors to generate content around entertainment, including film, food and drink, music, gaming and the arts.
Steven Thomas, general manager of WOW247, said: “We’re thrilled with the growth of WOW247, and it looks like we’re on track for this to continue in August.
