IF. Agency completes recent transformation with ‘killer’ rebrand

Jo Whiteley, Creative Director, If agency

Brand communications agency IF. has completed its recent transformation, which has so far seen it move out of its home of 18 years in favour of chic Altrincham town centre offices and announce a new senior management team, with the completion of a ‘killer’ rebrand and new brand identity.

Jo Whiteley, director, creativity said the agency has put as much thinking, creativity and careful crafting into its own branding as it would for their challenger brand clients: “After more than 18 years we should know a bit about what we’re doing. And that confidence is what we primarily wanted to come through. In the back of our minds we knew we needed to leave our soft possibly even cuddly image behind, be bold and anti-bland.”

Founding partner and MD Christian James added: “As a brand communications agency we have evolved dramatically in recently years and particularly in the last few months with the new premises and senior management team. Everything has come together for us, and this is a key element in our transformation. We create killer brands and not least in that is our own.

IF. was founded in 2006 by Christian James and Brian Rees. It is an independent brand communications agency that seeks to “go beyond the obvious” and includes ambitious, purpose-driven brands like Marston’s, Knowsley Safari, Inspiring Travel, BSI, The Original Factory Shop and Zentia among its client list.
