The Leeds-based agency will be focusing on the “strong British credentials, optimum mineral balance and elegant, modern style” of Harrogate Spring Water, while mums and families are the target market for charity water Thirsty Planet.
Nicky Reeve, marketing executive at Harrogate-based Water Brands which sold 10 million bottles in July, said: “Having enjoyed record sales over the summer period, we’re now forging ahead with substantial development plans to further improve our position in the soft drinks market.
“Aberfield will help communicate this to our target audiences and take our overall brand profile to the next level.”
Nina Hands, senior consultant at Aberfield, added: “Harrogate Spring Water and Thirsty Planet both have great back stories but have very different propositions. We’re proud to be representing both brands at a time of significant growth.”
The win marks another in the food and drink sector for Aberfield after its appointment by Cherry Valley Farms last month.
