“What Ash and the team have created is incredible. The ambition for going beyond what’s been achieved to date is genuinely exciting, and too good an opportunity not to part of helping shape and deliver.”
Ash Habib formed Steel City Interactive in 2020 alongside his brothers, Asif and Asad. Their focus was on creating the first major new boxing game in more than a decade. The studio now employs meow than 70 people and released Undisputed in October last year.
“Bringing leadership experience from AAA Studios such as EA Sports and Codemasters is the next step of our growth, in our goal to become the world’s leading combat sports studio,” said Ash Habib, Founder and CEO, Steel City Interactive.
“I truly believe Tim and Clive will build on the success of Undisputed and drive us forward. I started the studio with no games industry experience, a scrappy underdog looking to make a mark. Now, with Tim and Clive here, it’s time to go pro.”
