Stockport-based Fourth Day PR has launched ‘Being B2B’, a new quarterly series of events to discuss the challenges faced by business to business PRs.
The events will feature business journalists, academics and experts from the sector and examine how the role of a B2B PR differs to that of consumer counterparts.
The first of the free events, Being B2B: the state of play for business to business PRs, takes place on November 25 at The Manchester Escalator.
Panelists for the Manchester event include David Edmundson-Bird, principal lecturer in digital marketing communications at Manchester Metropolitan University, Richard Frost, business journalist, and Nikki Scrivener, director at Fourth Day PR.
Emily Heaton, PR executive at Fourth Day, said: “Speaking as someone who’s still fairly new to the industry, every day is a constant learning experience. What’s been missing on the Manchester B2B scene is a lack of industry networking that can provide support that is directly relevant to what I do day-to-day. Being B2B will hopefully be a step in the right direction to doing something about that.”
