Online retailer, Net World Sports, has announced a £25m investment in a new Wrexham headquarters, as it commits its long term future to North Wales.

The new 411,000 sq ft office and warehouse space will be based just a mile down the road from its current Wrexham Industrial Estate home. It will be the base for all operations, including marketing and content.

“We’re a business that is built by the people of Wrexham for the people of Wrexham, so we’re delighted to be committing our long-term future to the town,” said Alex Lovén, Founder and Managing Director at Net World Sports.

“We’re hugely excited by the prospect of delivering such a fantastic working environment for our staff and we’re sure that the new site will help us attract even more local talent whilst also leaving us better placed to achieve our ambitious growth targets”.

Its 230 staff have been involved in the plans for the new space, which includes a bar, gym, onsite canteen, treatment rooms, football pitch, tennis court and running track.
