Salford Quays PR firm Down At The Social has picked up two new accounts – the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and Parkour and Aerial Centre, Evolve.
The remit for the new accounts includes traditional PR, social media campaigns, event promotion and sponsorship and further cements the agency’s position as one the North West’s leading leisure and sports marketing agencies.
Down at the Social are briefed by the BMC to raise the profile of the national climbing teams across traditional PR and social media channels with a focus on the mainstream consumer media plus working with the team find a new sponsor for 2016.
The work with Evolve includes raising the gym’s profile in its new location in MediaCityUK – near Down at the Social – as well as publicising its ‘stunt man’ training courses and alternative approach to fitness regimes.
Last week Down at the Social helped the team launch their newest entertainment concept Flow, a parkour, freerunning and stunt show to be held at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in October.
Daisy Whitehouse, managing director of Down At The Social, said: “We’ve had a really successful 2015 and the addition of the British Mountaineering Council and Evolve to our client portfolio further establishes our credentials in the sports and leisure arena. Both campaigns showcase our expertise perfectly and will bring the brands alive among their target audiences, in the right communication environments.”
