CTI Digital targets growth with CCO and brand shake-up

CTI Digital has named Matt Davies as its new Chief Commercial Officer, as it aims for further growth.

The move comes as the Manchester business seeks to consolidate all of its agency brands into CTI Digital.

It’s the latest major change at CTI Digital, following the £25m minority investment from LDC in 2022 – it’s undertaken a series of acquisitions since then and appointed a new CEO in October.

In the new role, Davies will be looking at “holistic growth” across the organisation and will be responsible for its Sales, Marketing, Partnership and Client Service teams.

He brings with him over 25 years’ experience including as New York-based Global Managing Director to  lead the build-out of Coty’s full-service and globally operating digital transformation and innovation hub, Beamly.

“CTI Digital is a new and potent melting pot of talent, capabilities and entrepreneurialism,” he explained.

“When you add to this its unique combination of enterprise-level technical expertise and ability to create human-centric experiences that people enjoy, you have a very compelling mixture for growth. I am really looking forward to working with our teams to unlock CTI’s full potential for our clients’ businesses.”

New CEO, Chris Woodward, has also named Steve Gale as Senior Vice President of Business Development and has announced plans to bring all 6 of its agency brands into one, operating under the CTI Digital banner.

Work is now underway to develop new positioning – including a new visual identity and logo.

“It is great to welcome a colleague of Matt’s stature to CTI. He is one of a number of senior hires we will announce over the next months as we invest in our team to deliver on the huge potential that exists within our organisation,” said Woodward.

“We are pursuing an ambitious agenda to own the enterprise technology and digital growth space in the market as the majority of our competitors only operate in one or the other. Consolidating our brands into one will allow us to deliver this more seamlessly for our clients and Matt will play in a key role in delivering this.”
