Liverpool-based events organiser Creative Kitchen will hold their next ‘Made Here’ event on November 19, in partnership with local homeless support charity The Whitechapel Centre.
The event – Tech for Good – will feature keynote speakers from FACT, So-Mo and The Fresh Group, and will be led by the Alder Hey Children’s Foundation NHS Trust, whose Fresh CAMHS project works to address the subject of mental health with young people.
Creative Kitchen is looking for members of the local creative, digital and business community to donate old coats, clothes, towels, food and sleeping bags to be used in The Whitechapel Centre’s city centre shelter.
Donations will be welcome throughout the day at the event venue Launch22 at the Tempest Building on Tithebarn Street in Liverpool city center from 9am and during the Made Here event from 5.30pm until 8pm.
Creative Kitchen curator Gavin Sherratt said: “With our focus on tech for good at this month’s event we thought that we would encourage the creative and digital community to support a good cause.”
Made Here is a regular series of events designed to showcase Liverpool’s creative and digital talent. Previous events have seen involvement from agencies such as Apposing, Uniform and Well Made.
