US marketing consultancy Hawke Media has announced it has acquired Manchester-based digital marketing agency Social Nucleus for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition forms part of Hawke Media’s plans to build its global presence and expand into the UK.
Social Nucleus, which refers to itself as a ‘plug-in marketing department’ that works with ecommerce brands, has additional operations in Bournemouth and Miami and said the partnership will enable the agency to expand further into the US.
William Tickle, CEO of Social Nucleus, said: “When Social Nucleus had the vision of expanding to the USA, we knew that we wanted to take the business to the next level. We established ourselves in the UK and we were ready to do the same in the US.
