Composer Max Brodie, whose work has featured in hundreds of TV programmes, films and campaigns, has opened a creative audio studio in Manchester called NiceSound.
Brodie, who has worked with clients including Google, McDonalds and American Express, says he is aiming to “cement Manchester’s place at the forefront of UK audio” with the new studio.
“Outside of London, I feel as though music and sound is an afterthought in UK creative industries, something that’s rushed at the end,” he added.
“My aim with Nice Sound is to allow people to incorporate audio into the early stages of a project to get the most out of it. I believe that being here, in the centre of Manchester’s creative community, will encourage people to think about and experiment with music and sound in a new way.
“We’re not another audio post house, we’re a creative audio studio.”
