MediaCityUK will play host to a new series of 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, which starts filming next month.
The show was originally intended as a one-off, but is now in its sixth series.
Filmed at Dock10, it’s also been nominated for 4 British Comedy Awards, including Best Comedy Panel Programme and Best Comedy Moments of 2014.
The new series will kick off with a Christmas special, before airing next year.
Guests include David Mitchell, Jack Whitehall, Johnny Vegas, Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, Reginald D. Hunter, Aisling Bea, David Baddiel and Alex Horne & the Horne Section.
It was commissioned for Channel 4 by Madeleine Knight and it’s made by Endemol, alongside Countdown producers, ITV Studios.
