Capital looks North with murals, mustard and Greggs

Capital Breakfast has rolled out the PR and marketing machine as Jordan North hits the airwaves.

In case you hadn’t realised, Jordan North has joined Capital Breakfast and just to make sure those people (within a particular demographic) are in the minority, Capital has gone big. In Burnley.

For a start Capital’s PR team commissioned a 20 foot mural, which was created by Global Street Art.

Placed just around the corner from Burnley FC, it took 3 artists over 70 hours to create and was completed ahead of North’s first show on Capital Breakfast – alongside co-hosts Chris Stark and Sian Welby.

“I can’t believe this, it means the world to the little 10 year-old boy who used to go and watch Burnley play all the time, so to see that round the corner from Turf Moor is honestly amazing – thank you!”  said Jordan North.

Joining the Northern powerhouse party of North and Burnley is Greggs. Never backwards in coming forwards, the North East brand has launched “The North” – a bacon role, complete with ketchup, brown sauce and mustard. The presenter’s favourite flavour combination.

From tomorrow, Greggs has succumbed to “overwhelming customer demand” to release the special sandwich in 5 UK stores – including, obviously, one in Burnley.
