Bruntwood SciTech, the UK’s largest provider of workspace, scientific services and specialist support for the science, tech and innovation sectors, has been confirmed as a Prolific North Partner for 2025.
A joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General and Greater Manchester Pension Fund, Bruntwood SciTech supports life science, tech and innovation-led businesses with everything they need to grow by building ecosystems that are carefully curated to help startup, scale-up, and global companies produce world-changing innovation. It provides the ‘connective tissue’ between world-leading research universities, large hospital NHS Trusts, strong civic leadership and high-growth enterprise.
With a portfolio of 5.2m sq ft across 11 campus locations and 31 city centre innovation hubs in Manchester, Cheshire, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Cambridge and London, Bruntwood SciTech now supports more than 1,100 companies with plans to grow their UK-wide community to 2,600 businesses by 2033. Companies based at Bruntwood SciTech innovation hubs are directed to the experts, facilities and services they need, including access to the brightest talent, connections to capital and investment.
This past year Bruntwood SciTech has invested £314 million to create new workspace and labs to support the UK’s innovation economy. A number of these projects are due to complete and open next year, including Citylabs 4.0, No.3 Circle Square and the transformation of iconic Manchester city centre workspace, Pall Mall.
Bruntwood SciTech also welcomed over 200 new innovative businesses to its hubs in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool throughout 2024, with 107 of these in Greater Manchester alone, and supported the expansion of more than 40 others.

Bruntwood SciTech becomes the latest confirmed Prolific North Partner for 2025, joining companies including digital brand experience agency Tall, independent recruitment consultancy Better Placed and Leeds-based integrated agency HUB.
Prolific North’s Partners will get the chance to feature on Prolific North throughout the year, join awards ceremonies, be a part of key industry events and contribute to wider conversations within the industry.
