MediaCityUK’s Ignite has completed a set of custom jingles for Nation Radio in Wales, London and Glasgow.
“Our brief was for a bold, classy package that matched our modern AC music proposition here at Nation Radio. Chris [Stevens] and the Ignite team delivered exactly that. It sounds great on air and our presenters love using it,” said Neil Greenslade, Nation’s group programme director.
Nation Radio launched its Scottish service this autumn, after acquiring the 96.3FM licence for Renfrewshire, Glasgow and West Central Scotland. Its been broadcasting in Wales since 2013.
The new themes have been composed to reflect its AC-led playlist, and cover a range of styles including Motown, ballads, piano pop and soft rock.
“We’ve been lucky enough to create jingles for both of the UK’s new FM commercial stations recently; Nation Radio in Glasgow and Ipswich 102 in Suffolk. We love working with stations to help create the perfect sound for their output,” added Chris Stevens, Ignite creative director.
