A new documentary examining Liverpool’s long journey to return to the top of English football is to air on BBC Two, this Sunday night.

Liverpool FC: The 30-Year Wait will feature 5 of the club’s managers, including Jurgen Klopp, Chief Executives, Rick Perry and Ian Ayre, plus key players both past and present. The will also be an interview with owner, John Henry.

The programme will look at how the club fell away, after its domination in the 80s, plus how the tragedies of Heysel and Hillsborough have shaped its identity.

Narrated by Liverpool fan Jason Isaacs, the post production took place at Timeline North’s MediaCityUK facility.

The offline and online edit was completed by Dom Robson-Smith; the Colourist was Neill Jones; and Dubbing Mixer Dan Piggott. Workflow management was led by Chris Mann and Post Produced by Charlotte Bell.
