Two Stories consultancy launches brand and website for independent events industry body

Lancaster-based brand consultancy and design studio, Two Stories, has created the brand and website for new events industry body, isla.

Isla was founded to advocate for sustainability in events, aiming to empower people with the right information to engage in and promote behavioural change within the events industry.

They approached Two Stories, which was founded by former Single Malt creatives Rob Ellis and Bekkie Hull, to create their brand from scratch, and reflect those values of sustainability and progressiveness. Isla has 12 founding members and an advisory board, and is a not-for-profit aiming to make tangible change in events.

The industry group works with agencies and brands, organisers and suppliers to provide guidance and support on vital environmental issues.

Creative Director at Two Stories, Bekkie Hull, said: “We are so pleased to have been approached by isla for this project. With nothing but their name in place we were trusted to create a brand and website that would accelerate their launch and introduce them into the industry.

“The organic brand shapes are enigmatic of isla shaping the event industry and contributing to a more circular economy. Similarly, the core earthy colour palette oozes sustainability but is injected with strong vibrant accent colours to give the electric vibe of the events industry.”
