Leeds software group, BigChange has named Andy Fielder as its global Chief Technology Officer.

Fielder joins from London’s BigHand, where he was also CTO. He started his career at Britannia Music and Universal, and has also held held senior roles at Group NBT, Edexcel & Pearson.

“I’m delighted to join BigChange, which is an exciting technology business that has achieved a huge amount in a short period of time,” he said.

“I look forward to leading BigChange’s talented technology teams, helping to revolutionise the market through its market-leading products, and being part of the leadership team to deliver on this company’s enormous global potential.”

His arrival follows a £75m+ investment by Great Hill Partners to “fuel innovation and expansion” at the group.

Fielder’s main role will be to focus on growing the functionality and user experience around its job management platform.

“Andy is a proven technology leader with a strong track record of driving innovation and supporting growth at technology businesses,” added Richard Warley, BigChange CEO.

“He further strengthens a leadership team with extensive, proven expertise delivering products that drive sustained growth and success for global technology businesses.”
