Manchester PR agency Beattie Communications has picked up two new account wins in the arts and entertainment sector.

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), co-founded by Sir Paul McCartney, joins the agency’s client roster after a competitive pitch.

Beattie’s brief is to position LIPA as the first choice institution in the UK for the performing arts.

It’s also been signed up by full-service production boutique Lion Eyes, whose clients include Peter Kay, ITV, Asda and the BBC.

Lion Eyes has tasked Beattie with promoting its advertising, marketing and production offering nationally, as well as the launch of its new post-production facility, The Den.

Lyndsey Evans, who heads Beattie’s Manchester office, said: “The team we have in place now has a wealth of knowledge in the arts and entertainment industry, having previously worked with clients including Cirque du Soleil, Pathe Productions and a number of record producers. We are looking forward to making a big impact for both LIPA and Lion Eyes.”

The Beattie group, which has offices around the UK including Leeds, says it expects to report its best ever annual results next month after a “record-breaking” year so far.
