Cheshire business-to-business research company, B2B International has reported its best ever first quarter figures claiming that turnover rose to £1.7m, a doubling of sales year-on-year. The company reported total sales for 2012 of £5.1 million.
The company was formed in 1998 by Paul Hague and his son Nick who now chairs the company.
In addition to the headquarters in Bramhall, Cheshire, the company has other offices in London, New York and Chicago, Beijing and Shanghai, Brussels and Moscow.
In addition to growth in its overseas markets, B2B has been busy staffing up in Cheshire, with a dozen new staff taken on in 2012 and a further four this year.
CEO Matthew Harrison said: “It is hard to single out highlights from these results as revenue in the UK, US and Asia-Pacific all increased by over 100% on Q1 of 2012.
“In addition, our medical division has seen enormous growth since summer 2012, and the proportion of our revenue represented by ongoing contracts rather than ad-hoc work has increased fivefold in less than two years.”
